Looking Back on 2010 & New Years Resolutions...

So I suppose I should make myself a list of things I should start doing to better myself for this upcoming year. One of the best ways to improve your future is to look at your past habits and learn from them. This year had many ups and downs emotionally, financially, and socially.

As I've mentioned in my previous post, this year was a year of discoveries for me. I learned a lot about myself and the world around me. I graduated high school, got a job, and dipped into some new hobbies/interests (make-up :p).

I've also noticed that this year I've developed some bad habits. Some of them include: poor money management, impulse purchases, avoiding uncomfortable social situations, depending too much on others, and a lack of self motivation.

This New Year...2011, I need to make some changes to better myself. So far, this is what I've come up with.

1. Allow myself a *small* monthly allowance for spending.

2. Put myself out there and open up to people a little more. I have a hard time trusting people, and I'm afraid of new situations, or approaching people. You only live once, you cant live alone. You need people to make you laugh, and to talk to.

3. Independence, I must obtain this. Whenever I'm weary of a new situation I always look to others to help me, I'm a young adult, life sucks, its hard for everyone, I need to learn to rely on myself when all else fails, because I won't always have someone holding my hand through difficult or stressful situations.

4. I need to motivate myself to actually DO the things I SAY I'll do. Talk is cheap.

Some other smaller goals I have for myself is start blogging more and reading more books. Although... no one will probably ever really read this, or if so very few people, but I think I like having a place to put down my thoughts, just for my own sanity and organizing all my thoughts and feelings myself.

Okay, I figured I'd start blogging on here, because... well, why not? I don't have much better to do other than play video games, or window shop online, so I may as well be semi-productive and Blog about things that I discover and obsess about while browsing online stores.

One thing about 2010 for me, is it was a Year of Discoveries, in many ways. Beauty related or not. But for the sake of this blogpost ill stick to the beauty and try not to get sidetracked.

I became quite obsessed with Youtube Beauty Gurus or Beauty Bloggers and all the stuff they love and recommend.


One Youtuber in particular stands out to me, and thats BubzBeauty. She has a great personality, shes inspiring, and she has such nice skin. So i wanted to know what she does to make her skin look so perfect :D She did a video on her skincare routine, and turns out she uses lots of Laneige products.

So on Yesstyle I came across a nice Laneige set for a little over 100USD ^_^




Also something I hear about from other Bloggers/Gurus is Beauty Diary Masks.
I love masks of all kinds, but I've yet to try sheet masks, and everyone seems to enjoy the beauty diary masks. So I think something I'd like to try is the Variety pack from Yesstyle for 28 USD
